What's included

• Astro 7, fully static

  Builds to plain HTML with no server; React hydrates only the two forms. Deploy anywhere that serves files.

• Keystatic CMS

  An editing admin at /keystatic during development, writing straight to the files in the repo. Add an SSR adapter and GitHub storage to edit online.

• English, French and German

  Every editorial field holds a value per Locale, with fallback to English. Adding a Locale takes a config entry, its UI strings and a route folder.

• One typed content model

  Collections are declared once and generate both the Astro content schemas and the Keystatic admin, so they cannot drift apart.

• SEO built in

  Canonical URLs, hreflang alternates, a sitemap, and JSON-LD for artists, artworks, exhibitions and news.

• Motion with restraint

  GSAP scroll reveals and smooth scrolling, applied without animation for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

• Plain CSS

  Design tokens and scoped component styles. No utility framework to learn or remove.

• Forms without a backend

  Newsletter and workshop registration post JSON to any form service, such as Formspree, and run in demo mode until you set one.

Quick start

Open localhost:4321/keystatic to edit content. Before you publish, replace the demo artworks, images and gallery details with your own. The README on GitHub covers deployment, forms and adding a Locale.

Licence

MIT: free for personal and commercial projects. Demo images and copy are placeholders.
